    Tuesday’s fine weather brought out 44 players to contest a Gold Tee Challenge 4 Person Ambrose with a twist.
    The winners were Michael Grimes, Adam Holt, John Richardson and Domingo Diaz with a nett 55. The scratch winners were Nick Jones, Dave Octigan, Daryl Horwood and Peter Vallance with a gross 48!
    Ball rundown went to nett 52 points on a countback.
    The nearest the pins were – on the third Don Clutterbuck, on the seventh Rob Purcell, on the ninth Daryl Horwood, on the twelfth Domingo Diaz and on the sixteenth Michael Grimes.

    Thursday’s event saw a field of 61 golfing enthusiasts fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event with some great scores being returned.
    The winner of Division One was Tony Crawford (2) with 39 points (one under) on a countback from Rob Dundas (6) and in third place Josh Foots (15) with 38 points.
    The winner of Division Two was Ian Jones (29) with the score of the day – 41 points from John Gilson (25) with 40 points and Gary Johnson (17) in third place with 38 points.
    Ball run down went 34 points on a countback.
    The nearest pins were John Gilson on the third, Luke Vandersluys on the seventh, Brad Grant on the ninth, Peter Vallance on the twelfth and on the sixteenth was John Koraus. Second shot NTP on the eighteenth was Rod Smith.
    There were two rabbits for the day, being Bob Cullen and Phil Conway.
    The Gold event had five competitors, with the winner being John McCaskill (20) with 40 points from Neil Walker (16) with 39 points.

    The weekend results

    Saturday’s event was the annual Parson Father & Son and Family 4BBB Stableford event.
    The Father & Son winners were Angus Bolitho (30) and Steve Bolitho (20) with 48 points on a countback from Keith Millott (33) and Greg Millott (24).
    The Family event winners were Ben Millott (2) and Keith Millott (33) with 47 points.
    The 4BBB winners were Dan Robertson and Dean Seccull with 49 points from Sue Parsons and Lorraine Cullen with 48 points.
    Ball run down went to nett 45 points on a countback. Nearest the pins were on the third Tony Crawford, on the seventh Bob Speed, The ninth was claimed by Maurie Walsh, the twelfth went to Dan Robertson and on the sixteenth was Dion Sheahan. The second shot on the eighteenth went to Craig Walsh. Unfortunately none of the ladies managed to claim their NTP’s.
    There was also a singles event for the members who did not have partners, and that was won Adam Pinlott (26) with 43 points.

    Sunday saw the start of Winter Pennant for the fellas.
    The scratch team were at Myrtleford playing Wodonga and they won 3/2
    The handicap team played at Jubilee against Myrtleford and the result was abandoned due to a sodden course.
