    Hot scores still the name of the game

    Tuesday had 22 players playing a stableford event.
    The winner was Peter Baddeley (14) with 39 points from Rob Healy (17) with 38 points.
    Ball rundown went to 33 points on a countback. Nearest the Pin on the third was Brendan Egan, on the seventh was Paul Norris and on the sixteenth was Tom Murakami. The NTP second shot on the eighteenth was Michael Aistrope.

    Wednesday’s daylight saving event was  a stableford competition with 26 players competing. The winner was Jeremy Veneman with 20 points on a countback.

    Thursday’s event saw a field of 54 golfing devotees fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event with some great scores being returned. There were three players contesting the Gold event.


    The winner of Division One was Bob Cullen (14) with a score of 39 points from Charlie Heath (18) with 38 points.
    The winner of Division Two was Frank Devries (28) with an impressive 42 points from Keith Murphy (29) with 38 points on a countback.
    Ball run down went 36 points on a countback. Nearest the pins were Martin Slack on the third, Rod Sargent on the seventh, Cecil McIntosh on the ninth, Rob Dundas on the twelfth and Phil Corr on the sixteenth. Nearest the pin second shot on the eighteenth was collected by Jeremy Drew. The best score on the par threes and par fives combined for handicaps +1 to 21 was won by Sam Sandhu, whilst for the handicaps 22+ it was Frank Devries.
    Congratulations to Chris Anderson for his eagle on the first hole.
    The Gold event winner was Frank Zeidler (24) with 45 points.
    There were two rabbits for the day, being Dave Octigan and Brad Grant.

    Saturday’s event was a stableford competition with 43 players enjoying the warm March conditions.
    The winner of Division One was Steve Chisholm (14) with a score of 39 points from Mark Jones (5) with 38 points.
    The winner of Division Two was Graham Mear (19) with an impressive 44 points from Rob Purcell (22) with 40 points.
    Ball run down went to 36 points on a countback. Nearest the pins were Zach Parry on the third, Brad Grant on the seventh, Bill Parsons on the ninth, Tony Pridham on the twelfth and Dan Robertson on the sixteenth. The second shot on the eighteenth was collected by Mark Jones. The best score on par fours went to Graham Mear.
