    Week One

    The Midweek Results

    Tuesday’s event was a par competition with 48 players in the field.
    The winner of Division One was Phil Conway (10) with plus three from Dean Seccull (10) with plus two.
    The winner of Division Two was Adrian Smith (21) with a great score of plus five from Laurie Harcus (19) with plus three.
    Line balls went down to square on a countback. Nearest the pins were on the third Nathan Griffiths, the seventh was Jeremy Veneman, the ninth and twelfth was Dan Robertson and on the sixteenth was Tom Swan. NTP second shot on the eighteenth was Ray Findlay.

    Thursday’s event saw a field of 70 enthusiastic competitors fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event with some excellent scores being returned.
    The winner of Division One was Maurie Walsh (10) with 38 points on a countback from Justin Reeve (6) also with 39 points.
    The winner of Division Two was Trevor Wright (19) with 41 points from Tom Swan (25) with 39 points.
    Ball run down went 34 points on a countback.
    Nearest the pins were: on the third Guy Barbuto (Hole in One), the seventh was Jimmy Herridge, the ninth went to Alan Agar, the twelfth was Pat Marks and the sixteenth was Steve Chisholm. The closest second shot on the eighteenth was Maurie Walsh. The hidden holes went to Steve Chisholm and the secret nine was shared by five golfers.
    There were two rabbits for the day, being Adrian Smith and Martin Slack.

    The weekend results

    Saturday’s competition was a stableford event with 51 competitors in the field.
    The winner of Division One was Phil Conway (9) with 39 points from runner-up Kane Blunt (5) with 37 points.
    The Winner of division Two was Laurie Harcus (18) with 37 points on a countback from Glenn Douglas (14) also with 37 points.
    Ball run down went to 33 points on a countback.
    The nearest the pins were on the third – Steve Worner, on the seventh – Rob Healy, on the ninth and the twelfth – Rod Sargent and on the sixteenth was Ben Martin. Nearest the pin second shot on the eighteenth was Craig Walsh. The best sore on holes 7 – 12 was Maurie Walsh.

    Week Two

    The Midweek Results – All the competitions this week were stableford events with large fields everyday.

    Tuesday had 58 players in the field.
    The winner of Division One was Nick Siperki (15) with 39 points from Steve O’Sullivan (10) with 37 points.
    The winner of Division Two was Mike Irwin (28) also with 39 points from Tom Swan (24) with 398 points on a countback.
    Line balls went down to 34 points on a countback. Nearest the pins were on the third Peter Kilkenny, the seventh was Steve O’Sullivan, the ninth was Dennis Sheahan, the twelfth was Paul Cougle and on the sixteenth was Brendan Egan.


    Thursday’s event saw a great field of 94 enthusiastic competitors fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event with some excellent scores being returned, there were also three competitors in the Gold Event.
    The winner of Division One was Tony Crawford (6) with a great 38 points from Alan Parrott (12) with 37 points.
    The winner of Division Two was Nick Siperki (14) with 38 points from Charlie Heath (18) with 38 points on a countback.
    The winner of Division Three was Nathan Polkinghorne (23) with 39 points on a countback from Bruce Farmer (23).
    Ball run down went 34 points on a countback.
    Nearest the pins were: on the third Alan Parrott, the seventh was Steve Daykin, the ninth went to Ross Vaughan, the twelfth was Jimmy Herridge and the sixteenth was Rod Sargent. The closest second shot on the eighteenth was Dean Seccull. NTOP third shot on ten was Peter Smiles, NTP second shot on the seventeenth was Dave Waterton and NTP third shot on the fifteenth was Dan Robertson.
    The Gold Event was won by John McCaskill (20) with 35 points.
    There were two rabbits for the day, being Maurie Walsh and Martin Slack.

    Saturday’s competition was a stableford event with 52 competitors in the field.

    The winner of Division One was Mark Jones (4) with 39 points from runner-up Phil Conway (8) with 37 points.

    The Winner of division Two was Jayme Rekers (19) with 38 points from Peter Dolling (24) with 36 points.
    Ball run down went to 34 points on a countback.
    The nearest the pins were on the third – Jason Wilson, on the seventh – Steve O’Sullivan, on the ninth – Nathan Polkinghorne, the twelfth – Matt Polkinghorne and on the sixteenth was Paul Lange. Nearest the pin second shot on the eighteenth was Jack Hutchins. The best sore on holes 7 – 12 was also Jack Hutchins.
