• Ladies Golf Report – Week ending April 30th

  • IT was a quiet week in ladies golf – perhaps everyone was resting up before the mega day on Friday, when Mansfield hosted their Bowl.

Close to 100 golfers from 25 different clubs descended on the course for a great day of competition and camaraderie.

The Bowl went home with the team from Bright.

There were only nine players on deck for Wednesday’s Monthly Medal round, won by a delighted Glenis Skinner.

Skinner came in with nett 78, ahead of Marg Franke Williams and Millie Cumming on 79.

    Third was Shelly Comerford.

Linda Terry took nearest to the pin on the 16th and also won the Super Holes, along with Glenis Skinner.

Gayle Wells took out the putting.

Again, pretty quiet on Thursday for the nine hole stableford, won (as usual) by Kay Rose with 17 points.

Saturday’s round of stroke was won by Millie Cumming with a very good 74 nett.

Donna Sedgman was second with 78 and line balls went to Lesley Anderson and Nicki Cooper, both on 82.
