    Now for this week’s results.

    Tuesday’s event saw 21 players out for the stableford event.

    The winner was Peter Dolling (22) with 37 points on a countback from Graham Smith (36). Ball rundown went to 33 points. Nearest to the pin on the 7th was Laurie Harcus whilst on the 16th it was Peter Dolling. Brad Grant collected the Pro pin on the 3rd, and the best score holes 13 – 18 was shared between Stuart Hogg and Peter Dolling.

     

    Thursday’s event saw a field of 48 very happy souls fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event, as well as five gold participants.

    The winner of Division one was Geoff Brown (11) with 38 points from Taki Murakami (13) on a countback.

    The winner of Division Two was John Gilson (31) with 42 points from Sam Sandhu (21) with 40 points.

    Ball run down went 34 points.

    Nearest the pins were Rob Healy on the 7th, Laurie Harcus on the 12th and Peter Baddeley on the 16th. Chris Anderson took out the pro pin on the 3rd with the last shot of the day. NTP second shot on the 18th was claimed by a visitor Michael Barca. The best score on holes 7 – 12 was won by Sam Sandhu. Seven players scored two’s on par threes for the day.

    The Gold event saw a turn around with Geoff Lowry (33) taking out the event with 41 points from Graham Smith (30) with 37 points.

     

    Saturday’s event saw a field of 18 pairs competing in the President’s Day 2 ball Ambrose event with a draw for partners.

    The mixed event winners were Gail Wells and Jarrod Heath (7) with a nett 64. The runners up were Brad Grant and Millie Cumming (6.25) with a nett 65.75. Line balls went down to nett 69.

    The men’s event winners were Dan Robertson and Mark Jones (1.75) with a nett 63.25. The runners up were Peter Vallance and Mark Knapp (8) with a nett 64. Line balls went to nett 68.5 on a countback.

    Nearest the pins were Peter Vallance on the 7th and 9th, Maurie Walsh on the 12th and Damian Ryan on the 16th. The pro pin was collected by Brad Grant and Millie Cumming. There was a draw for a rabbit as well, and this was won by Bob Cullen and Donna Sedgman. Thanks also to Rob Healy for such a great effort on the Bar-B-Que.

     

    Tip for this week:

    Do not “expect” to play well. Good golf is about embracing the possibilities and not expecting anything with regards to the final outcome.
