    Now for this week’s results.

    Tuesday’s event saw a field of 25 players out contesting a par event.

    The winner was Peter Dolling (22) with a great score of plus 4 from Sam Sandhu (21) with plus 3.

    Ball rundown went to minus 2. Nearest the pin on the 9th was Brad Grant. Both the Pro pin  and the Super Holes were won by Bruce Farmer.


    Thursday’s event saw a field of 59 very happy souls fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event, as well as five gold participants.

    The winner of Division One was again Jarrod Heath (14) with 40 points from Geoff Brown (13) with 39 points.

    The winner of Division Two was Sam Sandhu (21) with a great score of 43 points from Tom Swann (32) with 41 points.

    Ball run down went 34 points on a countback. Nearest the pins were Clive Marsden on the 7th, Jarrod Heath on the 9th, Don Clutterbuck on the 12th and Chris Anderson on the 16th, and nearest the pin 2nd shot on the 18th went to Jarrod Heath. Roger Eddy took out the pro pin on the 3rd.  The best score on holes 13-18 went to Tom Swann, whilst the best score on holes 1-6 went to John Gilson. The novelty prize of the most 3 pointers on the back 9 went Don Clutterbuck.

    There were 2 rabbits for the day, being Graham Smith and Laurie Harcus.

    The Gold event saw Geoff Lowry (33) again winning with an excellent score of 47 points, with Peter Healy runner up with 38 points. Line balls went to 34 points

    The Golf Premier League results were:

    Snake Pit (142 points) lost to TMG’s (149 points)

    Eagle Hunters (118 points) lost to Eagles and Birdies (133 points)

    Saturday’s event saw a field of 18 pairs contesting the pre Grand Final 2 person Ambrose.

    The winners were Kane Blunt with a nett 59.25 from Rod Sargent and Alan Parrott with a nett 61.5.

    Ball run down went to nett 67.75 on a countback. Nearest the pins were Steve Chisholm and Donna Sedgman on the 3rd, Craig Walsh and Kane Blunt on the 7th, Steve Chisholm and Donna Sedgman on the 9th, Carlie Robertson and Andrea Marsden on the 12th and Tony and Michael Cooksey on the 16th. Nearest the pin 2nd shot on the 18th went David Hurle and Billy-Bob Speed.


    Tip for this week:

    Tis one is from our own pro Dan Robertson – Remember to always use a slow backswing, it allows you to keep your tempo on the downswing.
