Good Day in Benalla

The March Vets event in Benalla was held in perfect conditions – clear skies, windless and mild. The Mansfield contingent of 8 put in a solid performance.

We averaged a little over 34 points. John McCombe was the outstanding performer with an excellent 42 points, easily winning the bus pool (amounting to the huge sum of $10!).

David Smithwick, Geoff Brown and Paul Norris posted 37 points each and Frank Broomfield shot a solid 36 points.

As you can see from the pictures (and the smile on Geoff Brown’s face), a good day was had by all. And the Benalla course was in good condition. Even the kangaroos agreed!
