Smithwick takes out MatchPlay final

Dave Smithwick has taken out the Mansfield Golf Club’s Neely Singles handicap MatchPlay Final with a 3/2 win over Bill Moran on Sunday.

In what was a close affair, Dave prevailed on the 16th hole to clinch his first Neely title.

Congratulations to both finalists and to all of the competitors who took part in this year’s singles event. The 2017 event will start in late November 2016, so look out for announcements and a sign up sheet to be placed on the noticeboard.
