• Men’s Golf Report – Week ending April 29th 2018

  • Tuesday’s event

    25 players out participating for a stableford event.

    The winner was Peter Dolling (22) with a fantastic 47 points from Oliver Shaw (4) 39 points.

    Ball rundown went to 36 on a countback. Nearest the pin on the third was Geoff Morris, on the seventh and ninth was Oliver Shaw, on the twelfth was Chris Leaman and on the sixteenth was Robin Pratt. NTP second shot on the seventeenth was Rob Dundas, NTP second shot on eighteenth was Brad Grant and best scores holes 13-18 was Paul Norris.

    Thursday’s event

    45 golfers fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event with some great scores being returned. There were three players competing in the gold event.

    The winner of Division One was Rob Healy (18) with a great 45 points from Tony Pridham (9) with 43 points.

    The winner of Division Two was Charlie Heath (20) with 42 points from Perrin Gooding (24) with 38 points.

    Ball run down went 38 points on a countback. Nearest the pins were Bill Hammen on the third and seventh, Tony Pridham on the ninth, Michael Harrison on the twelfth and Maurie Walsh on the sixteenth, and Rod Sargent collected the NTP 2ns shot on the eighteenth.  Best score on holes 1-6 went to Gary Henry, Tony Crawford collected NTP third shot on the fourth, and Nick Siperki picked up NTP second shot on the first.

    The rabbits were Bob Cullen and Dave McKenzie.

    The Gold event saw Peter Healy (31) win with 42 points.

     

    Saturday’s event

    The annual KJ Evans Foursomes event.

    The winners of the men’s scratch event were Rod Sargent and Tony Crawford with 116 gross.

    The nett event went to Shaun Wade and Brad Grant with a nett 106 from Mike Harrison and Kane Blunt with 109 nett.

    Nearest the pin on the third was Shaun Wade/Brad Grant and on the ninth was Tony Crawford/Rod Sargent.

    The ladies scratch event was won the combination of Robyn Baker and Shelly Comerford with a score of 128 gross.

    The nett event was won by Robyn Baker and Shelly Comerford with 103 nett. Runners up were Millie Cumming and Sheryl Sargent with 106 nett. Nearest the pin on the third was Robyn Baker/Shelly Comerford and on the sixteenth was Sam Baily and Nikki Cooper.

    A stableford event was also held with Graham Mear winning with 42 points from Chris Leaman with 40 points. Balls went to 35 points. NTPO on the sixteenth was Sam Sandhu and NTP 2nd shot on the eighteenth was Chris Leaman.

     

    Sunday – Pennant

    The handicap pennant team defeated Tarrawingee 3/2 in the final at Jubilee.
