  • The Midweek Results

    Tuesday’s continuing warm weather brought out 20 players to contest a par event.
    The winner was Domingo Diaz (9) with plus four on a countback from Nick Siperki (13).
    The nearest the pins on the par threes were – Domingo Diaz on the third and seventh holes, whilst Michael Grimes was nearest on the sixteenth. The hidden holes winner was Neil Walker, and the runners up were Adam Holt and Bob speed.
    Ball rundown went to minus three on a countback.

    Thursday’s event saw a field of 62 happy golfers fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event with some great scores being returned. There were also eight competitors in the Gold event.
    The winner of Division One was Paul Lange (17) with 39 points from Geoff Morris (15) with 38 points.
    The winner of Division Two was John Saggers (18) with 37 points from John Gilson (24) with 36 points.
    Ball run down went 34 points on a countback.
    The nearest the pins were Alex Scherini on the third, Stuart Jarvis on the seventh, Bob Prosser on the ninth, Dave Octigan on the twelfth and Col Whytcross on the sixteenth. NTP second shot on the eighteenth was Rod Sargent. The NTP second shot (12-23) on the seventeenth was Alan Parrott, whilst the NTP third shot (24-36) on the tenth was John Plummer. The NTP third shot (0-11) on the fifteenth was Rod Sargent.
    The winner of the Gold Event was Tony Froud (17) with 37 points form Frank Zeidler (18) with 36 points.
    The two rabbits in attendance at presentations were Bob Cullen and Adrian Smith.

    The weekend results

    Saturday’s event was a stableford competition with 49 competitors in the field with some excellent scores being returned.
    The winner of Division One was Jason Twirdy (6) with 39 points from Brad Grant (10) with 38 points.
    The winner of Division Two was Steve Chisholm (12) with the score of the week a fantastic 43 points from runner-up Perrin Gooding (23) with 36 points.
    Ball run down went to 32 points on a countback. The nearest the pins were on the third Lachlan Thompson, the seventh went to Mitch Brown, the twelfth was Martin Lloyd and on the sixteenth was James Octigan. The NTP second shot on the eighteenth Rodney McIntosh. The hidden holes winner was Martin Lloyd and Steve Chisholm had the best score on the even holes.
