A quick quote for this week-

Actually, the only time I ever took out a one-iron was to kill a huntsman. And it took a seven to do that!

A short note from the Match Committee regarding the speed of play with large fields at this time of the year. The goal for every player should be to keep up with the group in front of them, regardless of the position of the group behind them. If you happen to get stuck looking for a ball, do the right thing and call the next group through.

A quick tip for this week – This is from Butch Harmon:

Players who are struggling inevitably start to feel awkward at address. Check your distance from the ball. Set up and drop your right hand off the club, letting it hang (above inset). Make sure you can move it straight back to the grip without having to reach.
