The Midweek results
Tuesday had a field of 24 players competing in a par event.
The winner was Geoff Morris (21) with plus one from Paul Norris (25) with minus one. Ball rundown went to minus three on a countback. Nearest the Pin on the third was Shaun Wade and on the sixteenth was Bill Taylor. The NTP second shot on the eighteenth went to Tony Crawford.Thursday’s event saw the regular Stableford event being conducted with a great field of fifty-three players in the competition, as well as three players in the Gold event.
The winner of Division One was Garry Henry (14) with 40 points from Tony Crawford (7) with 38 points.
The Division Two winner was John Plummer (25) with 38 points from Rob Purcell (20) with 37 points.
Ball run down went 34 points on a countback. Nearest the pins were Rob Healy on the third, Tony Crawford on the seventh, Mark Jones on the ninth, Laurie Harcus on the twelfth and Bill Hammen the sixteenth. Nearest the pin second shot on the eighteenth was collected by Brad Grant and closest to the pin second shot on the tenth was Mark Jones.
The Gold event winner was Geoff Lowry (29) with 41 points.
There were two rabbits for the day, being Charlie Heath and Alan Parrott.The Weekend results
Saturday’s event was President’s Day. A two person Ambrose event was held, with a draw for partners.
The winners were Donna Sedgman and Mark Jones with a great nett 58.5.
The runners-up were Linda Terry and Mic Davis with a nett 65.
Line balls went to the pairing of Lesley Anderson and Shaun Wade.
Nearest the pin on the third was Nikki Coffey, on the seventh was Phil Conway and on the sixteenth was Donna Sedgman. The straightest drive on the thirteenth was collected by Sam Sandhu, whilst the chipping competition was taken out by Cam Lester.Upcoming events:
