    The Midweek Results

    Tuesday’s weather brought out 33 players to contest a stroke event.
    The winner was Peter Barnes (19) with a nett 65 from Geoff Morris (17) with a nett 67 and Nick Siperki (16) with a nett 70 on a countback.
    Ball rundown went to nett 77 on a countback. The best score on holes 1 – 6 was shared by Craig Walsh and Mark Jones.

    Thursday’s event saw a great field of 72 very happy souls fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event with some great scores being returned. There were three players contesting the Gold event
    The winner of Division One was Mark Bettany (4) with 37 points from Oliver Pearson (+2) with 36 points (two under the card!).
    The winner of Division Two was Josh Foots (18) with a great score of 40 points from Laurie Harcus (20) with 38 points.
    The winner of Division Three was David “Skippy” McKenzie (28) having good score of 38 points from Peter Cullen (32) with 34 points.
    Ball run down went 31 points on a countback.
    The best score on the par 4’s was Josh Foots whilst the best score on par 3’ and 5’s combined was Phil Conway.
    The Gold event winner was a new combatant Bob Speed (15) with a score of 35 points.
    There were two rabbits for the day, being Steve Chisholm and Alan Agar.
    The Golf Premier League results were:
    Snake Pit (86 points) lost to Black Lives Matter (94 points)
    X-Factors (97 points) Def Spuds (81 points)
    Sicarios (105 points) Def The Freds (92 points)
    TMTG’s (97 points) lost to The Internationals (106 points)

    Saturday’s event was a stroke round incorporating the second round of the club championships.
    The winner of Division One was Domingo Diaz (12) with a nett 69 from Peter Vallance (6) with a nett 71.
    The winner of Division Two and best nett score of the day was Adrian Smith (24) with a nett 68 from Tom Swan (26) also with a nett 70.
    Ball run down went to nett 75 on a countback. The best score on the par3’s and 5’s combined was Alan Parrott, whilst the hidden holes was cleaned up by Adrian Smith.

    A Grade – Oliver Pearson – 145, Dean Grining – 152
    B Grade – Graham Mear and Domingo Diaz – 164
    C Grade – Alan Parrott – 168, Nick Siperki – 179
    D Grade – Peter Barnes – 184, Laurie Harcus 189
