  • The Midweek results

    Tuesday’s event saw a field of 29 players out contesting a stableford event.
    The winner was Trevor Wright (19) with fantastic 44 points from Alan Parrott (16) with a 43 points. Ball rundown went to 34 points on a countback. The hidden holes was shared between Alan Parrott and Nathan Pelling.

    The Wednesday twilight competition had a stableford event on the back nine with thirty-five competitors. The winner was Jarrod Heath with 25 points from Mic Davis with 20 points on a countback.

    Thursday’s event saw field of sixty-nine golfers fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event in warm conditions, along with four competitors in the gold event.
    The winner of Division One was Rob Fankhauser (14) with 41 points on a countback from Alan Parrott (15) also with 41 points.
    The winner of Division Two was John Hawkes (25) with a great 43 points from Don Clutterbuck (21) with 41 points.
    Ball run down went 35 points on a countback.
    The Gold event was won by Geoff Lowry (29) with 40 points.
    Nearest the pins were Michael Grimes on the third, Kevin Jacobs on the seventh, Michael Grimes on the ninth, Adam Holt on the twelfth and Dion Sheahan on the sixteenth. NTP second shot on the eighteenth was Rod Sargent. The NTP third shot on the fifteenth was Mark Pearson, whilst the NTP third shot on the tenth for handicaps 21+ was Dave Wilson. There were two rabbits for the day, and they were Roger eddy and Josh Foots.

    The Weekend Results

    Saturday’s event was the annual Horn’s Up 3 person Ambrose competition. With a field of 72 players a great day was had by all.
    The winners were the team of Mark Jones, Brenton Robinson and Jeremy Veneman with a nett 54.66.
    Runners-up were the team of Greg Marks, Andrew Armsden and Ben Martin with a nett 56.57 from the team of Dion Sheahan, Wayne Desmond and John Wilson with a nett 57.5.
    Ball run down went to nett 59.33.
    Nearest the pins on the par threes were on the third Mark Bettany’s team, on the seventh was Rob Healy’s team, on the ninth was Mark Bettany’s team, the twelfth was Mark Jones team and on the sixteenth was Brad Grant’s team. Closest second shot on the eighteenth was Graham Mear’s team.
