Eight ladies made the journey to Myrtleford for their bowl on Thursday, May 19.

No bowl win for Mansfield unfortunately, but an enjoyable day despite some light rain.

There were some minor prizes picked up by Mansfield ladies and one of the teams came very close to winning the bowl.

Albury Commercial came in with 99 points, with Mansfield tied second with Myrtleford on 98.

If only that short putt had gone in, but sadly, there is no prize for runner up in a bowl event.
