    Congratulations this week go to Steve Daykin, Trevor Wright and Rob Healy for their great wins on Thursday and Saturday respectively.

    Alan Eustace lets one rip down the middle.

    Now for this week’s results.

    Tuesday’s event saw 8 hardy players out for a stroke event.

    The winner was John Hayes (36) with a nett 74 on a countback from Brad Grant (7).

     

    Thursday’s event saw a field of 47 very happy souls fronting the starter for the regular Stableford event, as well as four gold participants. It was also combined with the first round of Golf Premier League for this year.

    The winner of Division One was Steve Daykin (15) with 41 points from Rob Healy (18) with 36 points.

    The winner of Division Two was Trevor Wright (20) with 37 points from John Hawkes (27) with 35 points.

    Ball run down went 31 points on a countback.

    Nearest the pins were Sam Sandhu on the 7th, David Hurle on the 9th and Rod Sargent on the 16th. David Hurle took out the pro pin on the 3rd. NTP second shot on the 18th was claimed by Geoff Brown. The best score on holes 13 – 18 was won by Trevor Wright. The only players to have two’s on par threes for the day were Geoff Brown and Maurie Walsh.

    The Gold event saw Geoff Lowry (33) continuing his good form taking out the event with 38 points.

    Eagle Hunters (123 points) Lost to Snake Pit (124 points)

    TMG’s DREW with X-Factors 126 points apiece.

    All teams are reminded that is the BEST four scores each week.

     

    Saturday’s event saw a field of 24 players contesting a stableford event.

    The winner was Rob Healy (18) with 40 points from Geoff Morris (20) with 39 points. Line balls went to 34 points on a countback.

    Nearest the pins were  Maurie Walsh on the 7th, Geoff Brown on the 9th and Steve Daykin on the 16th. The pro pin was collected by Maurie Walsh, whilst nearest the pin second shot on the 18th was claimed by Guy Barbuto. Best score on the even holes went to Perrin Gooding, while Rob Healy and Dan Robertson shared the best score on the ODD holes.

     

    Tip for this week:

    A bad attitude is worse than a bad swing. Remember golf is only a game.
